La primera sesión del Club de Conversación en Español, celebrada el pasado miércoles 9 de febrero, 2011 en el American Corner de Debrecen. Un grupo varopinto de hablantes nativos y jóvenes estudiantes del idioma se reunió para intercambiar impresiones en un ambiente cordial y de camaradería.

Si te gustaría practicar tu español y conocer a otros hispanoablantes (nativos y no nativos), ¡apúntate! Nos reunimos cada dos jueves en el American Corner para charlar y para pasarnoslo bien.

PopCorner

The bi-weekly PopCorner is a laid-back Friday afternoon program where you may learn about American popular culture. We will watch music videos and episodes of TV series or look at contemporary art. Who knows?! You will.

Read, Enjoy and Discover

Do you like reading, but don’t have much time?
Would you like to improve your language skills (especially reading and speaking)?
Are you interested in the latest technological discoveries and their impact on society and the environment?

We welcome everyone who would like to R.E.A.D. their way into a broader knowledge of today’s hot topics. We’ll choose an article and e-mail the link to those who sign up. You may also pick up a photo copy in the American Corner if that is what you prefer. On the third Thursday afternoon every month we’ll come together and discuss the contents of the articles and related topics.

Dates and articles to read:

For January 19, 5 pm: The Making of Mount Rushmore
For February 16, 5 pm:The Glory of Oprah

The only requirement of participation is reading the given article BEFORE the meeting.
